I'm a Southern California based self taught artist specializing in Pet Portraits since 2016.

My favorite medium to work is in acrylic.
My Inspiration
Upon retiring from a career as an Registered Nurse, Family Nurse Practitioner I tried various creative outlets for self fulfillment. It wasn't until my last pet of the 20 plus previous years crossed over to the Bridge that I felt inspired to try my hand at painting. I began by painting landscapes however after I painted a portrait of my Mini Schnauzer Lola I became "hooked" and continued with painting pet portraits of family and friends.
I have always loved animals and enjoyed being in their company. I find their methods of communicating with humans both verbal and non verbal fascinating. In my paintings I strive to translate the individual unique characteristics of each pet that says "this is me" and hopefully bring joy to their beloved human(s).
